Shaun Loney (centre) opened the conference on Tuesday evening with a presentation on the value of social enterprise. Present to greet and introduce Shaun were David Baldoke, Vice-President, AON Risk Solutions and Laurie Socha, MNPHA President.
Tim Hague gave an inspiring plenary address on his life journey following a Parkinson’s diagnosis. Tim and his son won the inaugural Amazing Race Canada.
Lunch time on Wednesday was a time to honour this year’s recipients of our Spirit of Housing Awards.



In recognition of our conference being held on Treaty 1 land, Wednesday morning’s session was opened with an invocation by Elder Amelia Wesley.
Thanks to Irvine Ferris (Portage la Prairie), Rick Chrest (Brandon), Martin Harder (Winkler) and Larry Johannson (Selkirk) for participating in the Mayor’s Forum.
This year’s exhibit hall featured representatives from 22 companies and organizations.
