This two-hour training will address governance issues and questions related to the roles of executive directors and property managers who work in non-profit housing and life lease organizations. Topics covered will include reporting, the role of management, governance, board of director relations and communications, and conflict resolution.
Agenda to include: - Manitoba Housing CEO and Executive Director of Portfolio Management discussion and updates - Policies, Standards, and Practices: Training from Manitoba Housing Standards & Quality Compliance on Core Policy Awareness, followed by round-table discussion on practices, challenges, and solution.
This training series was developed to expand the governance capacity for Life Lease buildings, and to help resolve issues and strengthen organizations. The workshop is designed for tenant representatives, board members, and managers of life lease organizations. Organized in partnership with the Manitoba Life Lease Occupants Association.
