Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM)
Sustainable Affordable Housing: The Green Municipal Fund offers support throughout the life cycle of an affordable housing construction project through five funding options:

- Planning: Early support to assist eligible housing providers to get started on achieving more sustainable affordable housing initiatives
- Studies: Assess the approaches needed to implement an eligible energy efficient pilot or capital project in detail.
- Pilot projects: Test out a new or innovative approach on a small scale
- Retrofit capital projects: Complete the renovation of existing housing units with the installation of energy efficient technologies
- New-build capital projects: Construct new homes that are highly energy efficient

Efficiency Manitoba
- Energy Efficiency Assistance Program: Provides free and subsidized energy efficiency upgrades, including insulation, furnace and boiler rebates, and energy-saving devices, for rental properties housing low- to moderate-income tenants and non-profit housing providers.
- New Buildings Program: Design and build a new energy-efficient commercial or institutional facility and earn up to $3.50 per square foot, plus an extra $12,000 for energy modeling.
- Building Envelope Program: Offers financial incentives to building owners who implement energy-efficient upgrades to the building envelope of commercial, industrial, agricultural, religious, institutional, or multi-unit residential properties.
- Commercial Deep Energy Retrofit Program: Incentives are available to support significant energy efficiency renovations in commercial buildings, enabling you to save energy, cut costs, and benefit the environment by reducing energy use by 20% or more from the baseline.
- In-Suite Energy Efficiency Program: Supports property managers and owners of multi-unit residential buildings in improving suite energy efficiency through free Basic Upgrades, like A-line bulbs and faucet aerators, and offers incentives up to $250 for Premium Upgrades, such as smart thermostats and advanced HRV controls.
- Commercial Energy Audit Program: Provides financial incentives and technical support for ASHRAE Level 2 or 3 energy audits, delivering a comprehensive report on energy-saving opportunities for building envelope, lighting, and HVAC systems, with applicable Efficiency Manitoba incentives.

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC)
- Affordable Housing Fund: Offers capital in the form of low-interest or forgivable loans and contributions to partner organizations for building new affordable housing and for renovating and repairing existing community and affordable housing.
- Canada Greener Affordable Housing: Supports affordable housing providers in completing deep energy retrofits on multi-unit residential buildings by offering forgivable and low-interest loans for retrofit measures, as well as funding for pre-retrofit planning and application activities to meet climate goals.
- Seed Funding: Offers financial assistance to individuals or organizations in the early stages of affordable housing projects, with up to $350,000 in interest-free loans and a maximum of $150,000 in non-repayable contributions for initial development costs.
- Apartment Construction Loan Program: Provides affordable financing to qualified borrowers during the high-risk construction-to-stabilization phase, providing loans from $1,000,000 up to 100% of the residential project cost.

Community Housing Transformation Centre (CHTC)
- Green Kickstarter Fund: Supports non-profit housing providers and tenant associations across Canada, aiming to build sustainable communities by promoting health, well-being, reduced energy costs, and cleaner air and water, with a maximum funding of $10,000.
- Sector Transformation Fund – Local Project Grant: Provides funding to organizations for transformative initiatives that enhance resilience and promote innovative housing solutions, with proposals assessed in two funding categories: up to $50,000 and over $50,000.
Government of Canada
- Canada Greener Homes Initiative: Programs such as the Oil to Heat Pumps Affordability initiative, Canada Greener Affordable Housing, and Canada Greener Home Loan offer upgrades like switching to heat pumps, installing energy-efficient windows and doors, and enhancing insulation.
- The Low Carbon Economy Fund: The program helps reduce Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions, promote clean growth, and build resilient communities by providing support through four key funding streams: the Low Carbon Economy Challenge, the Low Carbon Economy Leadership Fund, the Indigenous Leadership Fund, and the Implementation Readiness Fund.
