Self-Assessment Tools and Action Plans

The Centre is committed to support non-profits and co-ops in their efforts to ensure their sustainability and growth. That’s why the Centre has developed two free self-assessment tools to guide housing providers in their activities.

Organizational Compass

The Organizational Compass is an online self-assessment tool that allows you to identify your organization’s strengths and challenges. Knowing more about them will increase your ability to set the right priorities.

The Organizational Compass provides guidance in four areas:

  1. Governance
  2. Property management
  3. Financial management
  4. Social and community relations

Following the self-assessment, an action plan tailored to your situation will be automatically generated. It will detail the course to follow, step by step, to give you the best shot at success. It will also serve as a project management tool allowing you to monitor and adjust your progress.
