Manitoba’s rental vacancy rate has gone up, meaning it’s easier – a little – to find a place to rent.
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation says Manitoba’s rental market has gone from a 0.7 per cent vacancy rate to a 1.2 per cent vacancy rate, meaning it’s a little bit easier to find rental accommodation.
CMHC also said the reason for Manitoba’s increase was an increase in the number of renters buying homes.
