Austin Family Commons and Sir Paul Martin Estates opened their doors to their first residents in January. Located in Point Douglas, the 19-unit Austin Family Complex features mostly three and four bedroom units with two of them being fully accessible. About 10 percent of all labour hours used to build the project came from social enterprise employees.
The Sir Paul Martin Estates project is located in Transcona. The family wing, a six-storey building, offers 45 units for families. An adjoining four-storey wing has another 47 units for seniors.
