MNPHA Online Board Training

This course is for those who serve (or are considering serving) on a non-profit housing board as a director/board member.

Building Boards is an online, self-guided training delivered via Google Classrooms. Registrants can access the courses from February 1st – April 30th. Discounts are available for Boards wanting all members to access the training at once.

  • Overseeing operations
  • Bylaws and legal requirements
  • Understanding financial reports and audits

This training program consists of two courses – Level 1 and Level 2 with videos, reading, and assignments. Completing the courses takes approximately eight hours, in small segments. A certificate of completion can be provided.

Pricing: 

  • $95 + GST for the first participant of a MNPHA Member organization
  • $45 + GST for each additional attendee of a MNPHA Member organization
  • $120+ GST for each non-member attending
  • $150 + GST for unlimited registration for a Board – yes, your whole Board can join!

The Building Boards Program was developed with the financial support from the Winnipeg Foundation and Assiniboine Credit Union and thoughtfully created by Rolande Kirouac of High Achievement Training. Bursaries are available to organizations with limited funding.
